UFCA opens registration for free short courses in research, artificial intelligence and health

The Federal University of Cariri (UFCA) is accepting registrations until November 13, 2026 for short courses at the 3rd Teaching, Research, Extension and Culture Week (Sepec). The event offers 26 free options, including in-person activities and an online electrocardiography course.
We have selected courses relevant to research, technology and health. Some welcome people from a range of fields, while others are intended for specific groups. The fact that the event is open to the wider community does not override each course’s eligibility requirements.

Visit the official catalog, check the activity’s requirements, and sign in or create an account on the Sepec portal. In your dashboard, open “Atividades” (Activities) and select the course you want. The system manages places and flags scheduling conflicts.
The institutional announcement gives a registration deadline of November 13, 2026. Places are limited, and the public catalog does not show how many remain for each activity. Check availability when requesting registration.
Free registration, certificates and schedules
Registration is free, and certificates are available. According to the event instructions, the organizers issue certificates after the event or after activities with recorded attendance. Certificates are available as PDFs under “Meus certificados” (My certificates). No specific information about a possible issuance fee was found.
Some activities overlap: scientometrics, AI ethics and ECG run at overlapping times on November 25; innovation and psychology communication overlap on November 24. Consider the venue as well before making your choice.
